This marks the resort’s 11th consecutive year receiving the honor and further solidifies its position as the first and only AAA Five Diamond property throughout the state of Jalisco.
As detailed in AAA’s 2025 Five Diamond list, fewer than 0.5% of nearly 30,000 AAA-inspected hotels throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean achieve this elite rating. The Five Diamond properties must exceed expectations in service, luxury, amenities, and guest experience through annual, anonymous inspections conducted by trained evaluators.
Hotel Mousai Puerto Vallarta received its first AAA Five Diamond designation in 2015 and continues to raise the bar for elevated, adults-only travel in Mexico.
