In addition to having guaranteed, quality annual vacations at our luxury resorts in the most prominent destinations in Mexico, you also gain access to exclusive perks. This article covers just a handful of the member-only benefits available to you while enjoying a lifetime of amazing vacations.

Exclusive Member-Only Events

  • Members’ Cocktail Party

Members and their guests are invited to join us for our weekly Members’ Cocktail Party to meet and mingle with fellow members, resort management, and enjoy a social event with cocktails, entertainment, and hors d'oeuvres. The schedule differs by resort (schedule below). Once you arrive at the resort, you will receive an invitation to this fun event or you can ask your concierge for more details.

  • The Villa del Palmar Cancun and Garza Blanca Cancun Members’ Cocktail parties are held Mondays at 5:00 pm. The location alternates between Davino and La Casona STK’s terrace.
  • The Villa del Palmar Cancun and Garza Blanca Cancun Elite Members’ Cocktail parties are held Thursdays at 4:00 pm at Davino.
  • The Garza Blanca Los Cabos Members’ Cocktail parties are held Mondays from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Orange Tree.
  • The Garza Blanca Los Cabos Members’ Cocktail parties are held Tuesdays from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm at the Lobby Bar.
  • The Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta and Hotel Mousai Members’ Cocktail parties are held Tuesdays from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Venue is subject to change.
  • The Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta and Hotel Mousai Elite Members’ Cocktail parties are held Thursdays from 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Venue is subject to change.

Please confirm your attendance with concierge no later than one day (24 hours) prior to the event as space is limited for all events and activities.

  • Annual Members’ Meeting

Each year, you are invited to our Annual Members’ Meeting where you will receive important updates and have the chance to meet senior management and fellow members. It also provides an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about any aspect of your membership.

This year, the meeting will be held at Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos from October 18-20, 2022.

In order to attend, you must register for the event before reserving your accommodation, as you will need your confirmation to complete the reservation. Save the date!

  • Friends Count Referral Program

With the Friends Count referral program, when you recommend friends or family who are interested in vacation ownership, they are eligible to stay at any of our properties for the best available rate when they attend a relaxed sales presentation at the resort.

When you spread the word about how great your membership is, not only does it give you the chance to vacation with your closest friends and relatives, but you also receive Friends Count Rewards that can be applied towards an array of services including all-inclusive meal plans and spa services.   • Make Use of Discounts

To show our tremendous appreciation for our members, you may be eligible to receive a discount card based on your membership type.

  • Gold Card members receive a 10% discount.
  • Elite 4-Star, 5-Star, and Residence Club members receive a 15% discount.
  • VIP Card members receive discounts above the 10% and 15% cards.

The discounts can be applied to the Market, Palmita Market & Deli, Spa services, and select tours booked through the on-site travel agencies

  • Extend your Vacation using “Club Time”

For members who wish to extend their vacation, there are two ways to do this. The first is, if you know in advance that you want to add a few nights to your reservation, you can use “Club Time,” which gives you 30% to 40% off resort rental fees for additional nights. The second way is to extend your stay while on property. VPA & Gold Members can pay a daily rate of 1/7th of the maintenance fee based on the size of unit needed. Both extension options are offered year-round, however, they are subject to availability.

  • Preferred Points/Gold Time

In addition to your Club Points that you have purchased, you also receive Preferred Points equal to the amount of Club Points you own. Preferred points give you up to two weeks' worth of points that can be used during the summer months (May through October). For Gold weeks members, this additional time is called “Gold Time,” and is based on the total number of weeks owned. To use Preferred/Gold Time, you just have to pay the corresponding prorated maintenance fee and you only pay for what you use (minimum two-night stay). These additional points available to you are a great way to take an extra vacation or bring friends or family with you, as you can use your Preferred Points/Gold Time together with your Club Points to book a larger unit. Note that in order to do that, you must make your reservation 60 days in advance. Make the most of these extra points as they are there for you to use!

  • Choose a Period that Suits Your Needs

Another benefit is that you can use your points as you wish. You can use them all at once to enjoy a longer holiday or you can split them up between different resorts and unit types. Just remember you have to use your allocation of points within the same year unless you bank them.

  • Bank, Borrow, or Accelerate

One of the greatest advantages to being a member is that you can bank your points for up to five years (biennial members – for 1 year). Banking your points can be invaluable. If you are unable to take a vacation one year, you can bank your points for the following year. Another perk is that if you want to vacation with your friends or family and don’t have enough points for a larger unit, you can bank your points for the following year to cover a particular unit size. Just remember, you must bank your points before October 31st. Members can also borrow points up to five years in advance (1 year for biennial members) to cover a longer vacation in a different type of unit. Acceleration is another option available to you. With acceleration, you can use points from the back end of your membership and reduce the overall length by increasing your use. Please note that acceleration is only applicable to certain membership types and may not be used during the holiday seasons. Your options are endless!

  • Exchange Program

Members of our club can also enjoy the bonuses of Resorts Condominiums International (RCI) and Interval International (II) exchange networks (depending on club affiliation) so you can vacation anywhere in the world.
