Eagle’s Wings Foundation One Easy Way to Give Back
After becoming a TAFER Residence Club Member, Mexico no longer feels like a destination on a map. It begins to feel familiar.
It is the warmth in the air when you step outside, the sunsets that pause conversations, and the welcoming faces you see year after year. Over time, many members naturally begin to ask a simple question: Is there a meaningful way to give back to the communities that welcome us so warmly?
The Eagle's Wings Foundation
That is why the Eagle's Wings Foundation was developed. The Foundation has one main goal: to help families and individuals in need throughout the Mexican communities associated with our TAFER resort locations. The Foundation's primary focus is to provide "essentials" today, not tomorrow.
Assisting Communities in Need
The Eagle's Wings Foundation provides financial assistance to organizations that assist in distributing essential goods and services to families and individuals in need, such as clothing, shoes, food, and medical supplies. The foundation also supports organizations that provide social interaction to senior citizens and help individuals receive medical attention that would otherwise be unaffordable. While these efforts may not necessarily be reflected in news headlines, the impact of their work can be seen in the lives of individuals and families.
Personal Connection
To many TAFER Residence Club members, the opportunity to support the Eagle's Wings Foundation has additional significance due to the close relationship to the communities being assisted.
These causes do not exist at the end of a long chain of ideals but instead represent the communities where members have vacationed, walked through, eaten at, and returned to annually. Due to this connection, the sense of gratitude felt by many members towards these communities often creates a desire to reciprocate that gratitude.
How Members May Assist
Members have multiple options to help the Eagle's Wings Foundation:
- Contributing financially to the foundation in the form of small or large amounts that are deductible in the United States
- Making a recurring monthly contribution that accumulates over time
- Providing in-kind donations such as food and/or other essential items
- Serving as volunteers if they choose to take on a more direct role
Regardless of which method of contribution is chosen, each will enable the continued operation of critical services in communities that many members come to view as a second home.
Invitation to Help
There is no obligation to donate to the Eagle's Wings Foundation. Rather, there is simply an invitation to consider giving back a small percentage of the success that many members experience through their membership.
All contributions, regardless of size, assist in sustaining the necessary resources that allow essential services to operate in communities that many members feel a strong attachment to.
