TierraLuna Gardens Is the One Place That Members Keep Coming Back To
Most resort days have a natural rhythm: morning by the pool, afternoon on the beach, dinner somewhere nearby. TierraLuna Gardens is the thing that breaks that rhythm in the best possible way.
Located on the grounds of Garza Blanca in both Puerto Vallarta and Cancun, TierraLuna Gardens is a one-of-a-kind outdoor botanical space that brings together lush landscaping, specialty boutiques, elevated dining, and family experiences unlike anything else at either property. It is not a mall. It is not a market. The best way to describe it is a living garden you can shop, eat, and spend a full evening inside. There is nothing quite like it anywhere else in Mexico.
Puerto Vallarta
The Puerto Vallarta location sits on the mountainside, surrounded by the native and exotic flora that makes the jungle feel curated without losing any of its wildness. The space was designed around the idea that a botanical garden and a cultural destination do not have to be separate things. On a warm July evening, with the canopy above and the sea visible beyond the hillside, it is easy to understand why.
The garden features nine specialty boutiques, each distinct enough to justify a slow loop through the property. Musa deals in fine jewelry, including Tahitian black pearls and hand-chiseled silver pieces that are genuinely hard to find at this quality outside of a major city. AMA is a minimalist atelier born from the spirit of Banderas Bay, with pieces that feel local without feeling touristy. Zol carries resort and beachwear for men and women, and Palma handles the elevated end of vacation dressing. For something to bring home, Piedra de Río carries a thoughtful selection of Mexican handicrafts rooted in the country’s artisan traditions.
The family carousel at the center of the space is one of those details that catches you off guard in the best way. Whimsical without being kitschy, it sits among the trails of flora in a way that feels completely intentional. Members traveling with children will want to build extra time around it.

Dinner at KARUMA
The evening in Puerto Vallarta ends at KARUMA, and it should not be treated as an afterthought. KARUMA, which takes its name from a Mayan phrase meaning “fire in the night,” is a steakhouse and grill experience built entirely around the element of fire. The restaurant is open-air with a pergola-style roof that brings in natural light and sea breeze, panoramic views of the Pacific, and a show kitchen where members can watch the Executive Chef and team work the charcoal and wood embers in real time. The grill is the performance. The food is the result.
The menu centers on USDA Prime Platinum Angus beef, including Rib Eye, Strip Roast, Prime Rib, Tomahawk, and a Chorizo Steak that earns its reputation. For a standout opener, the Buenos Aires-style log-smoked provoleta is an Argentine classic that works just as well here in the tropical jungle as it does on any table in South America. The kitchen also runs a dedicated vegetable grill with the same wood-ember intensity, so the mushroom stew with truffle oil and the spinach salad with beets, caramelized orange, toasted pistachios, and Malbec vinaigrette hold their own alongside the beef.
Cocktails are made by in-house mixologists, and the sunset view from the terrace is the kind of thing that makes the meal last longer than planned. That is the right outcome. Reserve a table through the resort concierge or directly with KARUMA before your day begins. Summer evenings fill early. TIP: Ask for the special member menu offerings.

Cancun
The Cancun location brings the same concept to an entirely different landscape. Where Puerto Vallarta is jungle and mountain, TierraLuna Cancun is coastal: a Caribbean outdoor oasis, positioned in one of the most naturally beautiful stretches of the Cancun coast.
The space features boutiques, a family area, event venues, and the Luna Deli, which runs Starbucks coffee alongside barista-prepared drinks, premium sandwiches, pastries, salads, fresh juices, and smoothies from 7 in the morning through 10:30 at night. For members who want something casual between activities, or a relaxed start before a day at the beach, the Deli is the move.
Boutiques open at 9 a.m. and run through 10:30 p.m., giving members flexibility to visit at their own pace without feeling rushed. The family area makes TierraLuna Cancun a natural stop for members traveling with children, and the event spaces are available for private gatherings if anyone in your group wants to make a special occasion of an evening at the garden.
