Special Spring Events to Celebrate
St. Patrick’s Day Festivities
It’s that time of year again when TAFER’s resorts prepare to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. While the holiday originates from Ireland (even though St. Patrick was Welsh and not Irish), St. Patrick’s Day or ‘St. Paddy’s Day’ is celebrated all over the world. It’s a special day to wear green, get the shamrocks out, drink green beer, and dream about leprechauns and pots of gold.
To embrace the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day, our resorts will be brimming with Irish fever. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Here’s a list of the special celebrations the resorts have planned:
Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta
Join us for a buffet barbecue next to the main pool between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm. The buffet will feature a grilling station with sirloin steak, shrimp, fish, chicken, and BBQ ribs. No St. Patrick’s Day feast is complete without green rice, which there will be plenty of, along with fresh salads, steamed veggies, and more. A rock band will be playing live music during the event, which will add to the excitement. Our activities team will be dressed in green and we encourage members to do the same
The event is included with the all-inclusive plan. For members with the room only plan, the cost is $790 MXN for adults (excluding beverages) and $395 MXN for kids.
The Kids’ Club will also be hosting several Irish-themed activities for children including making Irish crafts, a Pot o' Gold treasure hunt, and clover face painting.
Hotel Mousai
This year for St. Patrick’s Day, members can celebrate at the Rooftop and choose to spend the day at the brand-new Rooftop in the South Tower, at the original Rooftop in the North Tower, or both! Both Rooftops will be serving green beer all day along with signature cocktails, martinis, and margaritas with a St. Patrick’s Day theme.
Garza Blanca Los Cabos
On St. Patrick´s Day, the pool concierge will be offering members and guests a special amenity around the pool, the beach area, and at the Rooftop. The activities team will wear Leprechaun hats and will be inviting guests to take photos with them. The Kids’ Club will be hosting some themed activities and the kids will have the opportunity to make a special craft that they can wear during the day.
Villa del Palmar Cancun
Caprichos restaurant will host an Irish-style buffet with stews, potatoes, salads, themed desserts, and more. Wear your green and join us for a special St. Patrick’s Day feast between 5:30 pm and 10:00 pm. Prior reservations are not required.
Garza Blanca Cancun
This St. Patrick's Day, Garza Blanca Cancun will decorate the restaurants with a green theme and will serve commemorative drinks such as beer.

Equinox Party
To celebrate the first day of spring, Garza Blanca will be hosting an Equinox Party on Sunday, March 20th. The party will take place on the beach from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. There will be a buffet dinner with traditional Mexican food including tamales and Zarandeado Fish with some sweet churros and buñuelos for dessert. To liven up the evening, there will be a pre-Hispanic show starting at 7:30 pm. Come to celebrate the beginning of spring with us!

Earth Hour
Earth Hour is an annual event around the world that occurs on the last Saturday of March and at 8:30 pm, people across the globe show their support for our planet by switching off their lights for one hour. Earth Hour is a movement intended to raise awareness about climate change and inspire action to address the major issues that our planet faces.
In solidarity with this cause, Garza Blanca Los Cabos invites members to turn the lights off in their room between 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm and enjoy a moment to show gratitude for our planet.
