Egg-citing Easter Events at TAFER Resorts
TAFER Hotels & Resorts and the Villa Group Resorts are preparing for a busy season with the Easter holidays coming up and members can look forward to a great month ahead. Each resort is planning something special at the hotel for you and your family to enjoy.
In Mexico, Easter is widely celebrated and it is a very important time of year to come together with friends and family and show respect for religious traditions. Many Catholics in Mexico participate in week-long celebrations, processions, and enactments.
Domingo de Pascua ¨Easter Sunday¨ is an extremely important religious day in Mexico and many Catholics attend mass and receive Holy Communion on this day. This year, Good Friday is on Friday, April 15th and Easter Sunday falls on Sunday, April 17th.
If you plan to vacation in Mexico over Easter, you’ll find celebration and joy wherever you go. Here’s a list of what the resorts have planned:
Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Cancun
Garza Blanca Cancun has everything you need for a great Easter family holiday.
In the days leading up to Easter, we will have a gastronomic happening at the Food Truck on April 14th, 15th, and 16th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Over those three days, we seek to encourage family togetherness. Come to enjoy a special meal with your loved ones. The menu will feature a selection of grilled fish, seafood, and vegetables.
Also, we are excited to mention that our brand-new Kids’ Club has recently opened. Come to see the new space and drop off the kids on Sunday, April 17th at 1:00 pm, so they can enjoy an Easter egg hunt especially for little people. They can stay for crafts and games while the adults in your group head to join us for a traditional Easter egg hunt, but Garza Blanca style, at the Food Truck at 2:00 pm. There will be a mixology demonstration and surprises!
Villa del Palmar Cancun
On Sunday, April 17th, join us in Caprichos for a special Easter brunch buffet with mimosas and live music from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The cost of the brunch is included with the all-inclusive plan and for room only guests, the cost is $750 MXN for adults and $350 MXN for children.
From 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the kids can join us at the Kids’ Club to make Easter crafts while you enjoy some adults-only relaxation time.
Then meet us at the lobby terrace at 3:00 pm for our family Easter egg hunt taking place in the resort’s garden area.
Garza Blanca Puerto Vallarta
On Easter Sunday, the kids can join us at the Kids’ Club and get playful with Easter crafts and games starting at 9:00 am. After the activities, they can join their parents for a delicious Easter Brunch. Then in the afternoon, the kids will be treated to an Easter show featuring the Easter Rabbit as a special guest. After the show, there will be a fun Easter Egg hunt around the resort.
Garza Blanca Los Cabos
Garza Blanca Los Cabos will be bursting with Easter-themed activities.
On April 16th, the Kids’ Club has an exciting day of Easter activities planned. The children can get creative and decorate Easter eggs any way they wish using paint, material, and a variety of colors. Then the Kids’ Club team will show them how to make their own Easter bunny party hat. All the materials will be provided.
Then on April 17th, the kids are invited to meet us at the Orange Tree wearing the Easter bunny hat that they made the day before and start the Easter egg hunt to find the eggs we have hidden around the resort grounds.
During turndown service on April 17th, members can look forward to receiving a special Easter-themed amenity made by our talented pastry Chef, Ignacio Palma
