Finding your JOY in 2021

I would like to wish all our members a very Happy New Year. The year 2020 was not the year we expected, and it was a challenging year for the clubs and our members on several fronts. Early in the year we had just begun to hear news of the novel coronavirus and for the rest of the year we heard about little else.

Over the course of the year, many members’ travel plans were impacted and rescheduled. Despite these difficulties, as I reflect on 2020, one thing comes to mind, resiliency. If 2020 taught us anything, it is that many of us embody resiliency. From our members, developers, staff, and everyone who plays a role in delivering the joyful vacations you deserve. Here at the club, we are so fortunate to have our members and the privilege of serving you is where we find our joy.

As we start 2021, we are filled with enthusiasm and optimism that the roaring in of a new year will usher in a new wave of hope for all. For our members who have resumed their vacations in Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos, and Cancun, their daily feedback and engagement has been well received and much appreciated. Members continue to engage in conversations around their comfort while visiting us. They have shared both their positive travel experiences and their gratitude to be finding their joy during an otherwise challenging time.

Our thoughts go out to those impacted by the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis. We have gone through life-changing events and life is different now. The lessons learned of 2020 and the prospect of a return to a “New Normal” has presented us with the opportunity to reorganize our operation, which we believe will translate into a better overall hospitality experience for our valued members. As we press into the new year, we are filled with hope and look forward to the future possibilities to come in 2021.

Remember putting your feet in the sand, enjoying authentic Mexican cuisine, or just slowing down to enjoy the paradise that your membership creates for you. All of us here at the club wish you and your loved ones a joyous and prosperous new year.
